White Rose Petal

Heart shaped

Falls into my hand.

I look up to my beloved who scries across the land

the rising sun in clouds

blood red shawls draped across the sky.

Smiling at the petal

I throw it high.

Fly high, fly,

carry my heart to the beloved one

gazing at the solstice sun.
